1) Read through your posts from this semester. Recall all of the experiences you've had along the way -- the highs, the lows -- the fun moments, and the moments of drudgery, and even the moments of dread.
This class was all over the place for me. I would bounce between being really motivated to do the assignments well and not wanting to reach out to professional to complete research for my assignments. This would be seen in my interviews. One week I would be motivated and get a lot of research done and become vastly more knowledgeable about where to take my business concept. Other weeks I would less motivated and not take the interviews are serious as I probably should have. Therefore, learn less about the direction to take my business concept.
2) What sticks out to you as the most formative experience? The experience that you'll remember years later? What was your most joyous experience? What experience are you most proud of yourself for accomplishing?
My proudest moment was the finalized business concept that I create at the end of the course. When I began the class I could not have imagined that I would have been able to write 1000 words about a business that I was passionate to start.
3) At the beginning of the semester, I mentioned that I wanted each of you to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. Now, in the end, do you see yourself as an entrepreneur? Do you think you have moved closer to developing an entrepreneurial mindset?
I do see myself having a more entrepreneurial mindset than when I started the class. I see more opportunities in the world around me that can be improved and I see problems as a gateway to solutions.
4) What is the one recommendation you would make to the students who are going to journey down this path in the future? What would you recommend they do to perform best in this course? What would you recommend they do to foster that mindset?

For students that are going to take the class in the future, I would recommend that they stay committed to the journey. The class is an evolutionary process that will end with them having the mindset, not all of sudden they will have it.

  1. Hi Trenton,
These are some excellent takeaways from the class. I really like your though of an "evolutionary mindset." It's so accurate; you being to change an adapt in this class in ways that you don't even notice sometimes. Awesome anecdotes and great analysis.

My proudest moment is also finishing the whole business plan. Like you, I learned a lot through it.
You said you have more entrepreneurial mindset than you had in the beginning of semester. I totally agree with you. I think my thought is more mature than I had in the beginning. I never think about any details when I wants do some thing before, but I am think about of thing to reach my target today. it is probably one of entrepreneurial mindset.
