I believe the next steps for the business would be to grow support in the existing market of people who are very concerned for the environment.
Ashley claims she makes environmentally conscious purchases.
Victoria believes that environmental responsibility is everyone’s responsibility and tries to take part in environmental change as possible.
Kelly is a firm believer in environmental protection and makes every effort to use products that are not harmful to the environment.
All three of them answered the question “what should we do?” in the same way. The wanted the service to stay in the best interests of the environment and want a high-quality service.
The feedback I received was most hopeful about the direction to take the product when growing it in the existing market. However, the individuals did mention that if I do want to grow in the existing market the service must stay high in quality. They want the service to be the best recycling service rather than the most environmentally sound. If any innovations are made we should do it with the customer in mind.
In addition, they offered suggestions on how to advertise to people that have an environmental impact. They mentioned not to stress the environmental factor too much and focus on other benefits. They said many people will be in the younger demographic and we will need a strong social media presence. They want us to focus on customer service. This was a surprise because they will not come into contact with this service frequently.
The radically different market would be large corporations that need to dispose of their employees’ computers. This market would be good to explore because they would need the service in higher volume and on a regular basis.
Bruce is a self-employed business broker and has several employees below him. He pointed out that price would be a contributing factor to get his business and other small businesses to switch over to this service.
Anita is a project manager that workers with many other associates that all have computers supplied by the I.T. department. She pointed out that convenience and asset protection get their I.T. department to use the service.
In general, to grow into this new market we have to grow as a company to take a large number of orders. This means renovating the customer service of the business. This will probably include having special contracts developed for businesses. This will encourage the fact that they would get a lower price.
In addition, it is important to make sure the information on the computers is taken care of properly. This is unsurprising the biggest factor for companies. This was seen when creating the venture concept and elevator pitches. However, I must find a way to build trust with these companies and ways to prove that their private information will not end up in the wrong hands.

  1. I agree with your post. Environmental problems are one of biggest issues of human existence. I also believe that enterprises who can do very good on environmental problems will become a great enterprise. and most customers will support you on that. Of course , as you concluded at the end of the sentences, a good company needs a lot of orders first. I think you can balance all this very well by reading your post.

  2. I'd like to believe that most people now are attempting to be environmentally conscious. I know that I was not always this way but in the last few years I have changed dramatically only because I have become more informed. I think in the direction our culture is going towards is only for the better and soon people will only choose the environmentally friendly products and services.
