Meet Jim. Jim is 29 years old. However, ever since he went vegetarian he feels 21. He lives in the suburbs of Orlando and drives his white Prius into work every day, as he is concerned for the environment. He works for a small marketing firm making advertising materials for different small business. He enjoys this job because it gives him an outlet to be creative. This means that he has both computers for his personal life and his professional life. Outside of work his friends usually catch up with him at a coffee shop no one besides him has heard about. Beyond that, he does live with his long-term girlfriend. They currently do not have any children but the idea has been talked about a few times recently. Jim makes it a priority to watch or read a new source at least once a day. He thinks it is important to stay current on what is happening in the world. It particularly bothers him when he sees news of waste in the ocean and landfills overflowing.
Just like Jim, I am concerned with the environment and trash that is being released within it. In addition, I watch the news daily for current events. I do not feel that this is a coincidence because my business idea is something I would use. That means I would be a customer and therefore I would share a few qualities with this avatar.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed how detailed your descriptions of "Jim" were. It's so cool to see a customer actually imagined and put on paper, and I think "Jim" would be an excellent customer considering he is part of our generation which is immersed in technology and goes through pieces of technology quite often.
Great Post Trenton! You were so detailed that I could actually picture people I know as your customer. I noticed a few characteristics that I could identify to in your avatar especially the part about waste in our oceans and landfills. Although I only identified with a few things I still think your service is something I would use. I think so many people could benefit from the service you want to provide I just think that your avatar is going to be a trend setter and make is big.
